Why the Change?
KJM CFO Consulting served us well, but over time, it didn’t fully reflect the role we were playing and where we are headed. We weren’t just consulting. We were embedding with leadership teams. Taking ownership. Creating systems. Helping businesses move forward with precision and purpose.
We needed a name that captured that approach. We spent a lot of time searching for a name that reflected our ethos; one that embodied leadership, clarity, and the relentless drive to improve. Then we remembered the slogan for Hillsdale College Athletics: Arete. A word that perfectly captured the spirit we wanted to convey.
Arete (ah-reh-tay) is a Greek word that means excellence—not as a one-time achievement, but as a way of life. It’s about pursuing your highest potential with discipline, integrity, and focus.
That’s the kind of leadership we bring. That’s the standard to which we hold ourselves.
